Many people who are considering Invisalign are wondering if they could somehow get free Invisalign.
Is it true…is there such a thing as free Invisalign? Well, as you probably thought, it is highly unlikely. Invisalign can be pricey so for it to be completely free will most likely not happen. However, don’t be discouraged!
Even though you may not find a dentist offering free Invisalign anytime soon, most dentists will at least offer a free Invisalign consultation so that you can see if Invisalign is really the right choice for you or not. Aetna is a popular insurance company that also includes dental insurance. Many people that have aetna insurance and wish for straight teeth often wonder about Aetna and Invisalign, as opposed to traditional braces. Cleaning your invisalign aligners is not a difficult challenge. Cleaning kits for your invisalign aligners will keep your invisalign aligners looking invisible. Many times the invisalign aligners will get foggy after bgeing worn for a long time and not being cleaned. Cleaning kits are recommended, however if you brush your teeth regularly you will not have a problem with fog or film on the invisalign aligners. Remember aligners can be removed to brush your teeth. You should also use a mouth wash like Listerine to fight plaque.
Invisalign.com has a product that is designed for cleaning your invisible braces, however the price is $75 for 50 cleaning crystals and a plastic tub. You should not use denture cleansers as an alternative because some can cause clouding.
Other recommended methods to clean invisalign aligners include:
- Dawn Dishwasher Soap
- Vinegar Soak
- Retainer Brite Tabs
- Hydrogen Peroxide Soak (50% water / 50% hydogen peroxide)
- Listerine Whitening Pre-Brush Rinse
