One example of an Invisalign limitation is the fact that they don’t work well for people that have teeth that are severely crowded. Another example of an Invisalign limitation is that they can’t be used to move teeth that are not fully erupted yet. Invisalign is best used amongst patients that are adults or in their late teens - younger than that will often benefit more from conventional braces.
There can be other factors that may present Invisalign limitations. Patients that wear Invisalign may also find that they face limitations regarding their speech, but this problem is usually only temporary and usually only due to the fact that the patient isn’t used to the aligners yet.
